About Me

Hi, I'm Mrs. Hewitt!  I'm a teacher in the Southeast, and I LOVE what I do!  I have taught 5th grade, 4th grade, and pre-K.  I recently married an incredibly fun and wonderful man (still getting used to the "Mrs. Hewitt" thing), and was blessed enough to be offered a job in a 1st grade classroom!  I am excited about my new classroom, my new students, and a new curriculum!  If you're a fellow teacher, please eat up everything on my blog (most of it will consist of stolen ideas, anyway... isn't that how we survive?), and if you're a parent of one of my students, welcome!!  I will be posting ideas for lessons, activities, field trips, technology, and organization.  I will also post updates on our class's activities and assignments, so check often!!
